Restorative yoga is a practice that focuses on slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of this practice your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body so you can allow tension to melt away. The yoga postures are done on the floor and are held for longer durations with an emphasis on support and comfort. Relaxing breath techniques and guided meditation are added for total relaxation and maybe even a pre-bed nap. Snoring is allowed and highly recommended!
No prior experience with Yoga or Meditation needed.
Students will receive a fun SWAG bag for attending to support a continued practice at home.
